I’m Heidi, a Clinical Psychologist dedicated to supporting neurodiverse individuals across all age groups. I take a holistic, strengths-based approach to my work, creating a safe and inclusive space where retreat participants feel empowered to thrive. Drawing on my experience, I’ve carefully designed the retreat programs and I serve as the lead facilitator.
Skill Development - Our program is designed to enhance social skills, emotional regulation, self-advocacy, and the process of unmasking, empowering participants to navigate the world with confidence.
Embracing Neurodiversity - We foster self-acceptance and understanding, helping participants develop a deeper appreciation of their neurodiverse identity.
16 Hargraves St, Office - Each session typically includes a discussion-based component followed by a hands on activity that promotes creativity, self-expression and engagement.
Inclusivity - We're committed to fostering a welcoming and accepting environment where every individual feels valued, respected and supported.
Growth - Soaring Spectrums fosters a culture of continuous growth and development, personal exploration and self-discovery.
Acceptance - We celebrate neurodiversity, encouraging participants to embrace their unique strengths and identities in an environment built on understanding and appreciation.
Empowerment - We strive to build confidence, skills and self-advocacy resources to take control of their lives and achieve their full potential.
Connection - We recognise the power of community, and create spaces for neurodivergent individuals to build meaningful connections, share experiences and support each other.
Overcome social isolation by engaging in a supportive environment and forming new connections within a supportive neurodiverse community.
Gain a deeper understanding of neurodivergent identity through access to therapies, positive role modelling and skill-building programs within an inclusive environment.
Develop self-confidence, independence and self-advocacy skills which enable participants to thrive beyond the retreats.
Gain lasting friendships and strengthen connections in their neurodiverse community, promoting social cohesion.
Engagement in a culture of inclusion, acceptance and empowerment reduces anxiety, enhances self-esteem and improves overall wellbeing.
Gain the confidence to navigate neurotypical environments (i.e., work or educational settings).
Develop confidence and skills to engage in meaningful opportunities (e.g., volunteering, work placements, training, which further promotes independence and autonomy.)
Cultivate a heightened ability for social engagement (i.e., immersing oneself in community endeavors and nurturing social connections).
Enhanced well-being and a sense of self-worth bolster enduring mental and physical health, empowering individuals to care for themselves autonomously.
Increased independence paves the way for economic involvement, lessening dependence on welfare.
